The Retro Regular is a 15oz unsanforized dark indigo selvedge denim. The original fabric was created 30 years ago, when a strong, dark denim was difficult to find. This denim was adored by both collectors and the community for over two decades, unprecedented in Japan. Now, Tanuki has combined low tension techniques, hard press and weave, and several dyeing methods to create the texture, strength and deep blue-black colour we see today. Not to mention, the beautiful fade that comes with wear.
